CCS is primarily a social club.
We typically dance Lindy Hop when we get together. We teach Lindy Hop and then dance and hang out!
Our current classes and social are on Thursdays in downtown Phx right above Valley Bar.
We also offer optional private lessons, mini workshops, and we also bring Lindy Hop to you through in-restaurant/bar dance lessons and other types of social events. And instructor training, community building coaching etc.

Copper City Swing teaches the original swing dance from Harlem, NY called "Lindy Hop." Through weekly classes, social dances, and other social and live music events we seek to build a safe place for the Phoenix area!

We are not ballroom affiliated. We do not teach east-coast swing. We teach a social-focused, improvisational, and non-competition style of Jazz-partnered dancing. In other words, Lindy Hop, Charleston and classic solo Jazz movements and we blend them all together in our Lindy Hop 1 course!
It might sound old-fashioned and out of vogue, but Lindy Hop is a MODERN day hobby practiced by 10s of thousands all over the world!
