ABOUT

Sarah Breck will be teaching a progressive, day-long intensive about partnership and conversation within Lindy Hop.

Leaders will develop conversation skills within the dance so they can absorb and respond to their partner's ideas collaboratively and naturally.

Follows will develop conversation skills within the dance so they can to add to the conversation in a meaningful and relevant way.

Audition tapes for the audition track should be submitted no later than Saturday, February 10th.

It should be a video of yourself that represents your current ideas and ability level. It can be anything (social dance, performance dance, contest dance) but it must be partnered Lindy Hop.

Very Important to Note

There will be two different tracks:

  • The ”All Levels” track will run from noon to five on Saturday, March 2nd.
  • The “Auditioned” track will run from noon to five on Sunday, March 3rd.

Each intensive has 4 hours of instruction with built-in breaks for body recovery.

REGISTER

  • All Levels Track

    This ticket is for the Saturday, March 2nd, intensive with Sarah Breck. Please read the details on the expectations for this track. While there is no audition, you should be able to comfortably demonstrate Lindyhop basics such as a swingout, tuck turn, pass by, and circle. We will be exploring concepts to take your partnership in the dance to the next level and will not be covering introductory information.

  • Audition Track

    This ticket is for the Sunday, March 3rd, intensive with Sarah Breck. Please see instructions for submitting your audition tape. If you are not placed in the auditioned track, your registration will automatically be moved over to the All Levels Intensive on Saturday, March 2nd. All auditioned track dancers are welcome to attend the “All Levels Track” the day before.
